Nanka School Project (NSP) is thrilled to share some fantastic news about the Nanka School Hall Renovation. Thanks to your incredible generosity and commitment, this project began on April 30, 2024, and we completed it on September 17, 2024.

Your support has made a significant impact, allowing us to transform Community High School, Nanka (CHSN) hall into a vibrant space for learning and school events. Together, we raised approximately $13,000 from the global community and roughly $2,200 from our local community. The combined efforts of Americans and Nanka community members residing in

America and England have truly showcased the power of collective action.

Initially, our goal was to roof the building and install new doors and windows with a budget of

$11,000. However, with the ever-changing materials prices in Nigeria, we wisely decided to aim for $15,000. In the end, our actual expenses totaled $19,465 (approximately #29,061,300). With approval from NSP’s board, we funded the additional expenses from NSP’s reserves.

We are excited to report that the hall is now equipped with a new roof, doors, windows, and ceilings, creating an inviting atmosphere for the students and the community. Thank you once again for your unwavering support and belief in our mission. This renovation wouldn’t have been possible without you, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this space will have on the students and community.
