In 2026, help bring life-changing care to those who need it most
Over the years, the Nanka School Project (NSP) has brought critical healthcare to those who need it most—organizing nine medical missions that have reached more than 5,500 indigent men, women, and children in Nanka and surrounding communities. Through these efforts, NSP has provided over 4,300 free reading and prescription eyeglasses and more than $300,000 worth of medications and medical supplies at no cost to patients. In the summer of 2025, NSP expanded its impact even further by adding minor surgical procedures to the mission, giving fourteen patients life-changing surgeries including lumpectomies, hernia repairs, cataract treatments, and pterygium operations. At a recent two-day free clinic at Ofuobi General Hospital, 700 patients were screened for chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, digestive issues, and eye disorders, and treated for acute conditions such as typhoid and malaria—again, all at no cost.
In July or August 2026, NSP will return to Nigeria for its next medical outreach—and your support can help make it possible. Whether you are a professional, student, or simply someone who believes in improving the standard of living in a rural Nigerian town, your generosity can directly translate into sight-restoring glasses, essential medications, and even life-changing surgeries for those who otherwise could not afford care. If you cannot travel but still want to help, a donation of any amount will make a real and immediate difference. To learn more about NSP’s work email nankaschoolproject@gmail.com
